Overlapping and inconsistent approaches to data were creating management confusion. The short-term solution was Range Logic, a way of showing the range of possible outcomes given data interpretations. The longer-term solution was clear group ownership of particular types of data and a shared data language.

Financial Process Sychronization

Different contract management systems were producing different financial results. Six different consultants had been brought in to address the issues, but none succeeded. We designed a consistent method of mapping all three systems and identified and led the repair of over two dozen accounting inconsistencies in only four months.

International Transaction Tax Integration

Over 16 months, we researched tax law in dozens of jurisdictions and then assembled an easy-to-maintain and simple method of determining which jurisdictions required reporting and/or payment on any individual transaction. Sabrix has had HP, Yahoo, Daimler, Amazon, Cisco, IBM, DuPont, GM, Comcast and Best Buy as clients.

Event Management Tool

Intel sales events brought together thousands of attendees. Both administrators and attendees needed a system that could handle the myriad details (from preferential class scheduling to accomodation). Two outside auditors rated the solution the best in-house event management system in the industry.

WheelTug

Aerospace Strategy Quality

Our financial and operational planning maximized the value of WheelTug's electric drive system for commercial aircraft. We also designed and built a bespoke aerospace design and manufacturing quality system (including software, processes & management). Joseph Cox, our principal, was co-inventor on 43 patents while at WheelTug.

IBM

Mortgage Servicing Model

We built an end-to-end loan servicing model that became a centerpiece of IBM's substantial special servicing business. The model integrated a massive amount of historical data and structural knowledge to deliver loan delinquency forecasting, activity-based staffing, detailed operational metrics, loss mitigation pipeline throughput forecasting and loan default forecasting.
